GENERAL INFORMATION

Defiberizing is a process in which efficient disintegration of fiber bundles is accomplished with the lowest number of deflaker throughput cycles and as little impact on the fiber morphology as possible.

FUNCTION & APPLICATION

  • Disintegration of fiber bundles in kraft or mechanical pulps, and of all types of recycled fibers
  • Flake reduction in broke handling systems

BENEFITS

  • Intensive acceleration and retention time for optimum defiberizing of fiber bundles
  • Inlet consistency up to 6%
  • No refining effect – no freeness drop
  • Low specific energy demand
  • Hinged cover for easy maintenance
  • Wide range of fillings for all applications
  • Sturdy mechanical construction
